Arizona Natural Arches
Most people don't realize this (myself included), but Arizona has the third largest number of natural arches of all the states, just behind Kentucky and Utah. Wow! Number three - a bronze medal. Not bad.
That means a lot of natural arches and bridges to explore. Do you know the difference between an arch and a bridge? An arch is formed by wind erosion while a bridge is formed by water erosion. Makes sense.
I have always enjoyed visiting these natural wonders and now I've found a website that makes this a lot easier.
